Nicholas Harmon, the applicant from Trailers of Texas, told the council the business buys and sells new and used tank trailers and expects to employ three people initially with a goal of five by year end. The council voted to approve the ordinance on first reading. The applicant and the property owner were present to answer council questions about prior site uses and staffing plans. No substantive conditions or additional permit requirements were recorded in the council action beyond the normal development and permitting process.
