Irma Acosta, from the economic and community vitality division, said the event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Half Moon Bay High School (Seacrest High School in the transcript) and will feature presentations by Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, Project Sentinel and HIP Housing.
Acosta said interpretation will be available in Spanish and Chinese and that attendees can contact renthmb@city.gov or call (650) 750-2016 for more information. She said the workshop was organized after council interest in supporting tenants beyond the city's rental programs and added that multilingual services would be provided at the event.
No council action was required; staff circulated the event details and said partners would provide information on tenant rights, resources and services.
