Architectural review committee approves revisions for Buckingham project at AT&T site, sends items to ADLS

The Carmel Redevelopment Commission heard a report from the architectural review committee Wednesday that the committee approved several architectural revisions for the Buckingham redevelopment at the AT&T site and approved changes to a proscenium structure on the green, subject to ADLS review.
Commissioner Brooks, reporting for the committee, said the AT&T-site Buckingham redevelopment design changes are not yet complete and will return for further review. The committee reviewed changes to the proscenium structure (formerly referred to as the Tavern). The committee approved the changes but required that ADLS review a sign package, the landscape plan, siding/brick/masonry materials, shade/umbrella plans, planters to separate the patio from the lawn and screening for any roof-mounted mechanical equipment.
Brooks said the proscenium structure had first been reviewed by the architectural review committee in May 2023; the current approval is contingent on ADLS verifying the listed items have been addressed. The architectural review committee forwarded the items to ADLS for those detailed checks.
