The Common Council on Tuesday approved a certified survey map (CSM) that divides property in the Old Highlander development (north of Pabst Farms and south of the former ski hill) into two lots and two outlots to facilitate redevelopment and the potential sale of the ski chalet parcel.
Planner Jason Gallo told the council the map dedicates Snyder Way and divides the property so that a building parcel (including the former ski chalet) can be separated from a larger remaining tract and two outlots. He noted a CSM can contain a limited combination of lots and outlots and that the developer will likely return in August to redivide the remaining parcel as part of additional plan commission review.
The plan commission reviewed and recommended the CSM; the council approved the map by roll call (Alderman Ellis recorded a nay vote, other aldermen voted aye).
Ending: Staff said the developer will return with a redivision of the remaining parcel for future plan commission consideration.
