County Health and Human Services staff said the Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance (LSWFA or LISWPA in the meeting) grant totals $177,194.67 over two years and supports permitting, inspections, complaint investigations, and related outreach. A second two‑year grant for moderate‑risk waste activities totals $55,000 and will fund education and outreach related to hazardous household waste programs.
Staff said the grants continue activities from previous funding cycles and cover the period July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. The board approved both agreements by motion and voice vote.
