Committee approves Hub City Days permits, licenses and premise amendments

The Marshfield Judiciary Licensing Committee on July 15, 2025, approved its consent agenda, clearing event permits, temporary licenses and a new liquor license for downtown establishments ahead of the Hub City Days festival later this month.
The committee approved a new Class B beer license and Class C wine license application from NC Avenue LLC doing business as Mushu Bourbon, BBQ, and Sushi, for premises at 601 North Central Avenue (agent Kadish Kaffee). The panel also approved a temporary Class B beer license and associated noise variance and open-container authorization for Main Street, Marshfield, for Hub City Days, July 24–26, 2025; the open-container zone was authorized for July 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Other items on the consent agenda included a change of agent for four GPM locations to Rhonda Urlab; a transient-merchant permit for Southwestern Advantage from July 23 through August 20, 2025; and two premise amendments for Hub City Days: Uptown Coffee Company LLC at 211 South Central Avenue for a July 25, 2025, event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the Marshfield Elk Lodge, 113 East Second Street, for scheduled Hub City Days activities on July 24, 2025 (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and July 26, 2025 (6 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
A motion to accept the consent agenda carried by voice vote. The committee noted these approvals are standard event‑supporting measures and did not discuss amendments or additional conditions on the items listed.
