Conservation commission grants partial certificate of compliance for 380 Leo Drive (Lot 93)

The Conservation Commission voted July 14 to issue a partial certificate of compliance for 380 Leo Drive, Lot 93, releasing that specific lot from an older order of conditions attached to a larger subdivision. Chairman opened the agenda item and asked for an update; Justin, the commission’s conservation agent, said the lot sits “hundreds of feet in either direction out of jurisdiction” and recommended partial compliance limited to Lot 93.

The commission’s action was limited to the single parcel. Justin told the commission that older development approvals had grouped many lots under a single notice of intent and that the town later changed its practice to close projects on a per-lot basis so future homeowners would not be blocked from closing. “Because it’s outside of jurisdiction, I don’t think that there are any ongoing… permanent conditions that would apply to this lot specifically,” Justin said.

Commissioners moved, seconded and recorded a voice vote in favor; the clerk recorded “Aye” and the motion carried. Justin said he would finish drafting the partial certificate and issue it to the owner or their representative the following day.

The partial release applies only to Lot 93 at 380 Leo Drive; the broader subdivision and any remaining lots tied to the original notice of intent remain subject to outstanding orders of conditions until formally closed by the commission or the applicant.
