A vendor demonstration of the Network of Care behavioral-health resource platform described a searchable, ADA-compliant service directory that local agencies can publish and maintain for residents seeking behavioral-health, housing and social services.
The presenter said the platform (networkofcare.org) provides a service directory, content about treatment and crisis resources, language support and tools to share resource information with care teams. The vendor said the site is maintained for clients, that pages are portable and that the platform uses aggregated, non-personal usage data only to improve navigation.
During the presentation, a council member asked whether the vendor sells data. The presenter answered, “No. No. In fact, no. The entire platform are commercial free, advertising free, and we don't use the data for any purpose whatsoever, other than making the site perform better, which is no personal data.”
Councilors stopped the presentation when it exceeded the allotted time and directed staff to review the proposal. The meeting record shows the council said it would “take that, look into it” and return to the item as needed.
No formal procurement decision or funding motion was made at the meeting; the vendor left materials and said the platform can be tailored to local needs and updated nationally when applicable.
