Raymore council approves bulk salt, school resource officer IGA and holiday‑display contract

The Raymore City Council on July 14 approved three separate items by unanimous votes: a city manager authority to contract with Central Salt LLC to supply bulk road salt, an intergovernmental agreement with the Raymore‑Peculiar School District to provide school resource officer (SRO) services for 2025–26 and a contract with Holiday FX LLC to install, maintain and store the city's holiday displays. The council took formal roll‑call votes on each ordinance's second reading or award. Bill 39‑75, the Central Salt contract (City Project No. 25‑012), passed 8–0. The second reading of Bill 39‑78, the Raymore‑Peculiar SRO agreement for the 2025–26 school year, passed 8–0. Bill 39‑77, the Holiday FX contract for holiday lighting and displays, also passed 8–0. The Central Salt award authorizes the city manager to enter into a supply and delivery agreement with Central Salt LLC under City Project Number 25‑012. The holiday displays contract authorizes the city manager to enter a contract for installation, maintenance and storage of seasonal lighting. All three motions were made and seconded on the council floor and carried by roll call with Mayor Pro Tem Abdul Gowad and eight voting council members present; Mayor Christopher P.
