Brad, county permits staff, asked the commissioners to approve two VTF excavation permits requested by a contractor working for the City of Berne on a new sanitary sewer force main. Brad described the first permit as crossing 000 approximately 1,150 feet south of 218 and then following 000 north to 218; the second permit crosses at 2,630 feet east of 000 on 550. He said the contractor will bore under the roads and there will be no road cuts. Brad said the installation will include an 18-inch sanitary sewer force main to connect to the city’s sewage ponds. Commissioners moved and approved both permits.
