Airport lighting, safety walk‑throughs and training slated as county readies taxiway LED conversion

Staff also reported that a contractor will convert taxiway lighting from incandescent to LED beginning the week of June 30, with a preconstruction meeting scheduled for June 24.
Committee members did not take formal votes on airport items during the meeting. Staff said they will return with any required permits, final reports and scheduling details needed to complete the lighting work and safety training.
