911 center, 11 Warren Street and courthouse EV charger plans move forward with phased schedules

Public Works staff said exterior windows are installed at the 911 center, interior gypsum board installation is under way and MIS and facilities met on cable routing; staff said the project remains within budget and on schedule. County staff said additional cabling and minor changes will be incorporated and work on that scope is planned to start the week of June 23.
On 11 Warren Street, staff held a pre‑bid meeting June 17 and said just over 20 contractors picked up bid packages; bids are due July 8 and will be opened publicly that day. County staff said they are also preparing an RFP for architectural services for the facade work and had sought feedback from the City of Hudson and local stakeholders but received little, so they moved forward with the RFP process.
Regarding courthouse EV chargers, county staff said National Grid agreed to provide funding for the project up to a $24,000 cap after staff confirmed the existing building electrical distribution could support the chargers without a separate service. Staff said they are finalizing terms with the EV vendor and will schedule installation work once details are settled.
Committee members did not take separate votes on the 911 updates or the 11 Warren Street RFP during the meeting; the National Grid funding confirmation was described as an agreement in principle, with vendor scheduling and final authorization still pending.
