Separately, the committee authorized purchase of four patrol vehicles using the New York State OGS contract number 1123166 through the county’s mini-bid process. Committee members discussed procurement delays and the specialized build requirements for patrol vehicles, noting it has become harder and slower to get those vehicles delivered. No roll-call tallies were recorded; motions carried by voice vote.
The measures were presented as consent items and carried without formal amendment. Staff indicated the purchases were budgeted in prior actions and that one vehicle replacement had been prompted by a wreck; beyond those remarks the committee did not expand procurement timelines or delivery estimates during the meeting.
