Garvey opened the session by asking the parties what relief Potter sought and noting ambiguity in the complaint and answer about whether Potter sought return of the vehicle, personal property, or adjustment of charges. Potter said she filed the complaint because she believed Fred's Towing “were trying to charge me, an amount far exceeding the statutory limits,” which prevented her from recovering her property within 30 days.
