Public works staff on July 15 told the Duvall City Council they would amend the city’s recently adopted six‑year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) to restore routine maintenance, non‑motorized improvements and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) work that were unintentionally omitted from the adopted list.
Public works director Steve Len Shevsky said the omission made some projects ineligible for Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) and similar grants; restoring the programs to the six‑year TIP will allow the city to apply for state grant programs that require TIP inclusion.
