At its July 14 meeting the Valley View School District Board of Education approved the treasurer’s action report for June and three sets of scheduled bills, with roll-call votes recorded as unanimous for members present. Treasurer Mr. Renich told the board the June treasurer’s action report (agenda item 6.1) totals $10,965,480.80. The board also approved scheduled bills for June of $5,825,733.21 (agenda item 6.2) and scheduled bills for July of $6,961,817.87 (agenda item 6.3). The approvals were completed by roll-call votes of board members Member Pipkin, Member Heil, Member Shrova, Secretary Sutterland and President Quigley. Renich also presented informational items including the June summary of investments, a state funding update and property tax receipts. The board noted the district’s continued A1 bond rating and the district’s financial stewardship during Dr. Wood’s update. The approvals were procedural votes on routine fiscal items; no additional budget amendments or new indebtedness were adopted at the meeting. The district posted these items for board approval as part of its regular monthly fiscal controls.
