Board members discussed one disputed element: a proposed beyond‑season stipend to compensate coaches who work extra weeks when teams advance beyond a typical season. The proposed framework—kept in the approved schedule after discussion—was $250 per week for a head coach and $150 per week for one varsity assistant for weeks beyond the typical season. Some trustees supported the stipend as fair compensation and an incentive for postseason work; others worried it could create a perverse incentive or that coaches should be compensated within the base stipend.
