GIS staff builds new ArcGIS experience site; city corporate-boundary issues slow city‑ward maps

GIS staff reported they have created a new ArcGIS Experience Builder site for Emergency Management (EMA) to replace an older web-app builder application and are awaiting feedback from EMA staff. The presenter said the new site includes added functionality and that migration will proceed after EMA approves the changes.
The office continues work on county clerk city-ward maps; the ward maps are complete but the GIS team found discrepancies in corporate-boundary layers that need cleanup before printing large maps. The GIS presenter said boundary issues can arise from historical annexations and inconsistent maintenance of boundary layers and that resolving those issues can be time-consuming. The office also said it is preparing drainage-district farmland calculations and anticipates presenting those soon.
Committee members asked about notification to cities; GIS staff said the issues are with the GIS boundary layer rather than with taxing codes and that the problems will become visible when printed maps are produced. The committee voted to place the GIS report on file and to pay the GIS bills.
