Plan commission tables Ronald Knight lot-split application to Aug. 6

The Madison Plan Commission on July 14 voted to table application PCAF25-6 from Ronald Knight after the applicant did not appear for the hearing; the commission rescheduled the item for Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at Ivy Tech.

The application concerns two parcels described at the meeting as an undeveloped lot on East Bobolink Court and a neighboring parcel on East Telegraph Hill Road. With the applicant absent, a commissioner moved to table PCAF25-6; the motion carried on an affirmative voice vote and the item was left on the table. The commission noted the application will be discussed at a special session on Aug. 6 at Ivy Tech at 6 p.m., per earlier scheduling referenced in prior meeting comments.

No public comments were recorded on the item during the July 14 meeting. The commission did not take any action on the merits of the lot split; tabling preserves opportunity for the applicant or his representative to appear and for staff to confirm noticing requirements.
