The Jacksonville City Council approved multiple utility-related items as part of the consent agenda during the workshop meeting. The items included resolutions to waive advertisement for bids and accept proposals for collector well pump inspections from Lane Christensen Company and for pretreatment program implementation services from CHEMHEC Environmental Consulting, as well as partial payment estimates related to wastewater and water main projects.
Alderman Autumn Watts presented the utility items and described them as part of routine maintenance and program implementation work. The consent package listed several pay estimates: a partial payment (estimate No. 323) to Plocker Construction Company for the wastewater treatment plant Phase 1 headworks project; a partial payment estimate to L.W. Roland Trucking Service, Inc., for water main replacements; and a pay estimate to Lane Christensen Company for well cleaning work.
Council members approved the consent agenda by roll call without pulling items for separate discussion. The council did not debate those items in detail during the workshop; staff and the presenting alderman offered to answer questions if needed.
