Jupiter Fire Rescue Department briefed the Town Council on July 15, reporting that Palm Beach County’s Board of County Commissioners unanimously granted the town a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) enabling the town to provide emergency medical transport beginning Oct. 1, 2026, the chief said. Department leaders also said they have applied to the Florida Department of Health for an EMS provider license.
