One commissioner proposed the RFP route to increase transparency and allow the best proposal to be selected; another supported moving forward with Tiny Homes for these lots while pursuing an RFP model for remaining lots in the future.
The motion to approve the transfer/sale at assessor value carried 6-0. Staff recorded the assessor-derived fair cash value and the presence of comparables ranging from $9,000 to $30,000 depending on the lot.
Ending: Staff will prepare the sale/donation paperwork and ensure the Tiny Homes Foundation documents compliance with applicable building and fire-code requirements before final transfer.
