State clears Eagan site; city to bid restoration and irrigation repairs

Following DEP clearance, staff said the city will repair irrigation systems and install Bahia sod to restore the area as an open passive field; the city has issued a request for bids to perform that work. "I would say probably a year or 2 years depending on how the contract's written and who wins the bid," staff told the committee when asked about a finish date.
