Land conservation committee warns farmers about five‑year manure application agreements under review

Phipps said the July meeting might include farmers and Department of Natural Resources officials to discuss land leases and manure application rules; he encouraged supervisors whose districts are affected to attend. “In my district, this is very important,” he said, noting the volume of manure application locally and that proposed 5‑year agreements relate mostly to expansions.
