Board approves engineering and inspection agreements for electric, sewer and wastewater plant projects

Each item passed on a 7–0 vote.
The board heard no substantive objections during the votes. For the Wartrace Creek interceptor and wastewater plant agreements, staff noted that the items were standard construction administration and inspection contracts to support currently budgeted capital projects. For the electric engineering amendment, staff presented the task-order change as part of ongoing engineering support.
Separately, the board approved a contract for mowing rights-of-way and litter removal with 3 C's Lawn Care LLC after staff said it was the only bidder; members asked whether local contractors had bid and were told some local firms had bid in past years but not in the last two years.
All listed engineering and inspection agreements will be administered by Public Works or the respective utility departments and include standard reporting and inspection deliverables; staff will manage contract oversight and return to the board as needed for major amendments.
