Board approves teacher hires and one special-education aide

The Plymouth School Board approved three 100% teaching contracts for the 2025-26 school year and acknowledged a new support-staff hire. Scott, a staff member, presented the personnel items and asked the board to approve contracts for Caitlin Johnson (who preferred to be called "Blue") as a social-studies teacher at Plymouth High School; Jenna Schweitzer as an agriculture teacher at Plymouth High School; and Michelle Brantley as a special-education teacher at Riverview Middle School. Scott said Johnson received a bachelor's degree from Lakeland, Schweitzer holds a bachelor's from University of Wisconsin'Platteville, and Brantley has a bachelor's from Silver Lake College and a master's from Saint Mary's University.
