District enrollment steady; K–12 up 11 students since June

Superintendent Dana Menogue told the board on July 14 that districtwide enrollment for the 2025–26 school year has been largely stable since the June report and is up 11 students in K–12.
Menogue asked board members to scan the district’s enrollment spreadsheet and noted that construction across the community has not yet produced a measurable spike in new enrollments. He said many families finalize school plans around the Aug. 1 date and the administration will continue monitoring late enrollments.
The superintendent identified one grade for closer attention: fourth grade at West Middleton. That grade’s enrollment has not changed since the last report and the district will monitor whether an additional section is needed. Principals told the superintendent they were comfortable with current class‑size averages overall.
Board members praised the clarity of the spreadsheet and welcomed periodic updates heading into August.
