ProLogist requested site-plan approval for Mountain View Building 1, a 26.93-acre nonresidential site at 700 Bridgestone Parkway. Planning staff said the site plan depends on public-road and utility extensions; a preliminary plat has been submitted for the next month and a final plat will need to be recorded before staff can recommend final site-plan approval.
Bridal Bowles of Kimberly Horne and Associates (project representative) told the commission the project’s infrastructure plans for public streets and sewer were submitted in March and that construction is actively under way on those elements. Staff and the commission said they needed to see the full plat package before acting on final site-plan approval. The commission deferred the site-plan item until the preliminary and final plats can be considered together so that required public dedications and services are clearly in place before final approval.
The commission’s deferral was procedural: staff will return the site plan for vote once the plats are approved and recorded and public services are shown as extended.
