Staff said the developer amended the preliminary engineering to correct alignment and grading problems; the revision required vacating portions of the previously platted right-of-way so the new alignment could be recorded. Staff noted the amendment reduced the subdivision’s lot count by three and that the change is consistent with a development agreement amendment the council approved for Tanner Flats a month or two earlier.
The council opened a formal public hearing on the vacation; no members of the public spoke. After closing the hearing, the council voted to approve the right-of-way vacation on the council motion and recorded roll call.
