Temporary access and safety
Council members asked whether there is a current safety issue at the ramps. Staff replied there was not a known immediate safety hazard but acknowledged that restricted gangway access slows launches and can create bottlenecks; staff said they will keep searching for temporary gangways or floating solutions that could open an additional gangway for public use while the permanent docks are fabricated and delivered.
