Weber County commissioners approved the consent agenda (items f1–f10) on Tuesday, authorizing purchase orders, warrants, payments and several contracts.
County staff member Jason Horn summarized the packet: purchase orders totaled about $407,885.35 and warrants totaled $3,005,071.47. Horn identified several large warrant recipients, including Marriott/Slaterville City at about $616,000 and Republic Services at about $607,000; other top vendors listed were Ogden School Foundation ($408,000), Trails Foundation of Northern Utah ($256,000) and Jackson Group Peterbilt ($131,000). The consent items also included approval of an ACH payment to Zions Bank for $297,572.27; a contract renewal with CivicPlus for the county website; an amendment to a contract with the Utah Attorney General’s Office to add current fiscal-year funding for the Weber Morgan Children’s Justice Center; and a contract with Tonicoint Data Centers, doing business as Valor C3, for data storage.
A motion to approve the consent items was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The chair announced the motion carried. The approved items will be processed by county staff according to existing procurement and contract-administration procedures.
Why it matters: The consent agenda moves routine but high-dollar payments, vendor contracts and operational purchases into effect without separate discussion of each line item, enabling county operations to continue.
Details: Purchase order and warrant totals were read into the record by staff; specific line-item descriptions and backup documentation were included in the meeting packet.
