Staff said the county had already purchased $30,314.75 in equipment and supplies (20% match $6,062.95), generating an initial reimbursement amount of $24,002.51. They also proposed an additional battery replacement costing $10,500 with a $2,100 match to yield another $8,400 in reimbursement. Staff summarized those figures and said the total reimbursement the county expected to receive from the HAVA submission would be about $32,006.51.
Commissioners voted to sign and submit the required resolution and paperwork so staff can finalize reimbursement. The clerk said the resolution would be sent on the office letterhead; staff confirmed the reimbursement paperwork and supporting purchase documentation had been prepared.
