Commissioners unanimously approve four zoning applications

The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously on July 14 to approve four conditional rezoning applications. Commissioners recorded 21 yes votes and no opposition for each item listed on the agenda as CZ 10-20-25, CZ 11-20-25, CZ 12-20-25 and CZ 13-20-25. The approved items were: CZ 10-20-25, application of Julia Rabel to rezone property from C-1 to A-G; CZ 11-20-25, application of Jerry Wayne Trotter to rezone from A-G to E-1; CZ 12-20-25, application of James Joseph Smigiel to rezone from RM-2 to C-5; and CZ 13-20-25, application of Jane Mosley to rezone from AG to E-1. For each application the meeting record shows a motion and a single second followed by a roll-call tally of 21 yeses, 0 nos, 0 abstentions. There was no recorded discussion on any of the four items before the votes. The clerk announced each tally after commissioners were asked whether anyone wished to change their vote. The approvals were recorded as resolutions passing during the regular meeting.
