Trustees approved a purchase order to Kist Electric for electrical work at the township pavilion and authorized asphalt repairs and other road maintenance; staff also updated the board on park improvements. Trustees rescinded an earlier PO and approved a new PO to Kist Electric for $4,749 from park-dedicated funds to install electricity at the pavilion. Staff said the price increased because a second circuit was recommended to provide sufficient capacity. The motion to approve the PO passed on the record. Miss Reinhardt requested a $5,000 purchase order to Mount Pleasant Blacktop for asphalt repairs on township roads; trustees approved the PO. A trustee also reported gathering quotes for a new salt/snow truck and said a 60-inch culvert on Howard Creek Road needs replacement, with numbers to be presented at the next meeting. On parks, trustees said Don Gill offered to donate a model train station display; township staff will evaluate the logistics and cost to move and install it. Staff reported grading at the playground site was expected to begin weather permitting, with contractor Pinchura slated to assemble the play equipment once grading is complete. No amendments to the Kist Electric or Mount Pleasant orders were recorded at the meeting.
