Board to consider raising district monthly employer health contribution for 2025–26

The proposal is a future action item the board agreed to place on the consent agenda for the next meeting. No final vote on the increase was taken at the work session; trustees asked questions and indicated the item should appear for formal action at the regular meeting.
Administrators said the district intends to continue paying 100 percent of the lowest employee‑only health plan premium if the board approves the increase. The presenter described the attached premium comparison showing the 2024–25 and anticipated 2025–26 premium costs and framed the item as an administrative recommendation for board approval at the next meeting.
If approved at the regular meeting, the change would apply for the 2025–26 fiscal year and would be reflected in the district's health‑benefit budget and payroll planning.
