The Spanish Fork Planning Commission voted to approve a minor subdivision replat to combine Lot 64 and Lot 65 in the Garrison Ridge subdivision into a single 1.06-acre lot that will retain frontage on Garrison Drive. Planning staff reported the resulting lot will exceed minimum lot-size and dimension requirements for the current R-2 (medium-density single-family residential) zoning.
Casey, city planning staff, summarized the application and told the commission that staff reviewed the submittal and found all required documentation and compliance with applicable ordinances and regulations. The item was presented as a public hearing; no members of the public spoke during the hearing and the public comment portion was closed prior to a motion.
A motion to approve agenda item 250703, the minor subdivision replat of Lots 64 and 65 in Garrison Ridge, passed on a roll-call vote with the following recorded yes votes: Commissioner Gant; Commissioner Lemoine; Commissioner Vaughn; Commissioner Lindsey; Commissioner Smith; and Commissioner McMillan.
Next steps: Staff will record the replat and update the city subdivision records.
