The City of St. Pete Beach has an approved demolition permit for a property owned by Blind Pass Properties 3 LLC, but the required pre‑site inspection failed on July 9 because a condenser remained connected and a silt fence had not been installed, the city’s permit administrator told the special magistrate on Monday.
Joanne Bolin, permit administrator, said the permit (number 2504949) was approved but that the July 9 presite inspection failed and the applicant had not responded with corrections. Code enforcement told the magistrate that no cleanup work had been done at the property since the failure of the presite inspection.
Augello said her previous order gave the respondent 30 days to bring the property into compliance and, because city testimony showed no change, she found the property noncompliant as of the hearing date. She ordered fines of $250 per day beginning July 11, 2025, until the property comes into compliance and assessed $330 in administrative costs.
The magistrate’s order will be issued to the property owner; the city will compute fines and proceed with lien recording steps if the owner does not correct the issues. Code enforcement emphasized that the open debris and vegetative problems remained on the site independent of the demolition permit’s administrative approval.
