- Caledonia Street pocket park and parking lot zoning transfer (ordinance 205657): An ordinance to transfer property from the local business district to the public and semi-public district at 1210, 1214 and 1216 Caledonia Street was adopted. Staff recommendation and unanimous City Plan Commission approval were noted. Motion to adopt by Council member Weston; second by Council member Bedford. Vote: unanimous.
- Primary care clinic zoning transfer (ordinance 205661): An ordinance to amend zoning to allow a primary care clinic at 406 Jackson Street was adopted after staff and Plan Commission recommendations. Motion to adopt by Council member Bedford; second by Council member Stein. Vote: unanimous.
- Bakery and cafe zoning transfer (ordinance 205666): An ordinance to allow a bakery and cafe at 1513 Market Street was adopted with conditions requiring compliance with design review and staff report conditions. Motion to adopt by Council member Pedeski; second by Council member Weston. Vote: unanimous.
- Airport concessionaire designation (resolution 260667): The committee designated the concessionaire for alcohol sales at the La Crosse Regional Airport as an annual renewal of an existing arrangement. Motion by Council President Dickinson; second by Council member Padeschi. Vote: unanimous.
Why it matters: These approvals clear routine regulatory and zoning steps so applicants can proceed with design, permitting and operations, subject to standard compliance conditions and design review requirements. The items will be placed on the full City Council agenda where required by process.
