The speaker also told residents, “We are aware, aware, aware of the state of the village, as far as the trees and the abandoned houses and in the potholes,” and asked constituents to “keep making your calls. Keep being patient.”
The staff member offered a direct contact line, saying, “If you see us see 1 of us out, you talk to me, you get my call, you can call me. I’ll try my best to, expedite anything that you need as far as public works.”
No formal motion, vote or directive was recorded during this exchange. The remarks were presented as an operational update and an appeal for continued resident reporting rather than a council action.
