The requester said the vehicle currently shows about 54,000 miles and described outstanding work including brakes and air conditioning. They asked that an additional $1,000 be moved into 11.31 for the remainder of the year for gas and incidental repairs.
Finance staff confirmed the fund had a balance and that the transfer would be a line-item move rather than adding new money to the county. Council members asked about the plan for the vehicle; the requester said the vehicle had been transferred to the sheriff’s office and that no new vehicle purchase was planned at this time. The council noted the vehicle had been included on a bond list previously and that if so, it typically did not require separate council approval for spending tied to that bond.
A motion to appropriate $1,000 to fund 11.31 was made and seconded; the council voted in favor and the motion carried.
