Council member Don Loudon reported to the Avon Town Council on July 10 that the Hendricks County Recycling District passed a resolution to purchase real estate that, if completed, would serve as the district’s permanent home.

Loudon said the district approved the resolution at a special meeting and that the district is now conducting due diligence, including securing two appraisals, before completing any purchase. He described the action as contingent on the due-diligence process.
