The Ithaca Urban Renewal Agency’s Neighborhood Investment Committee voted unanimously at its July meeting to amend a HOME-ARP allocation after HUD notified the agency of a small favorable adjustment. The change adds $1,416 to the City’s HOME-American Rescue Plan allocation and will be moved into supportive services and administration, staff said.
Anissa, a staff member presenting the item, said, “HUD sent us communication saying that there was a minor error in our allocation in our favor of the small amount that you see, a thousand dollars 416. So this requires us to make an amendment to the HUD's allocation plan we created for HOME-ARP. We're going to put the money into supportive services and administration.” She told the committee the change would be recorded through HUD’s Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) and that it did not require a substantial amendment because it was below the $25,000 threshold cited during the discussion.
Committee members moved and seconded the resolution and voted to approve the amendment without objection. Staff said the activity categories for the HOME-ARP award remain unchanged; only the dollar allocation line items will be updated in IDIS.
The committee heard that Reach Medical is the contracted provider for the supportive services funded under the HOME-ARP allocation. No changes to the contract or provider selection were proposed at the meeting.
The vote was recorded as unanimous; no additional actions or referrals were requested at the meeting.
