The Victor Central School District Board of Education elected Lisa Kostecki as board president and Elizabeth Mitchell as vice president and administered oaths of office to re-elected members and the superintendent at its July meeting.
The board voted by roll call to name Lisa Kostecki president after Timothy Delucia nominated her and Elizabeth Mitchell seconded the nomination. Board members Brian Adams, Timothy Delucia, Elizabeth Mitchell, Carol Prescott and Adam Snyder voted yes. The board then approved Elizabeth Mitchell as vice president on a nomination from Brian Adams that was seconded by Timothy Delucia.
The board administered oaths of office to re-elected members Timothy Delucia and Elizabeth Mitchell and to Superintendent Timothy Terranova during the meeting; the individuals repeated the oath language and signed their oaths as part of the ceremony.
Those actions set the board’s leadership and allowed the meeting to continue under the newly seated officers. The board subsequently approved routine organizational items and voted on consent agenda items later in the same session.
For the record, the roll-call votes that were recorded on the president’s election named Adams, Delucia, Mitchell, Prescott and Snyder as voting yes. No votes or abstentions were recorded in the transcript for those officer elections.
