Board approves annual surplus list and schedules public sale

Mr. Herren presented the district's annual surplus list and asked the board to approve disposal of items that administrators and department leaders identified at year-end. "Those items were listed in your board packet. And so we need in order for us to legally dispose of them, we need your approval," Herren said. A board member asked where the items would be sold; Herren said two sale dates are scheduled in August and that the district will publish the dates in the newspaper. He said the events will be at the SB 300 gymnasium and include a morning and an evening session. A board member moved to approve the proposed surplus items, a colleague seconded, and the board approved the motion by voice vote. No further action or amendments were recorded at the meeting.
