Board approves NCCR-based CTE carpentry curriculum for Bradshaw Mountain program

"All CTE programs must have industry assessments tied to the end of their program," Fitterer said, explaining that NCCR provided the strongest industry assessment alignment and matched local partner practices.
The program will operate on the Bradshaw Mountain High School campus as a carpentry program distinct from off-campus construction programs offered through Mountain Institute. Fitterer reported early enrollment interest of roughly 80 students and said the district secured an instructor and is preparing to launch the course in the coming year.
Motion and vote: Doctor Dellinger moved to accept the NCCR carpentry curriculum; Mister Sprague seconded. The board voted unanimously to adopt the curriculum.
