The Pasadena Federal School District Board of Trustees approved a slate of personnel appointments on July 9, 2025, during a special session at the district administration building, the board announced.

The approvals covered personnel listed as Section A through G, filling counseling, special education and leadership roles for the 2025–26 school year. The action passed on a voice vote after a motion and second; the board recessed to closed session earlier in the meeting before reconvening to complete the approvals.

The board approved the following appointments as announced at the meeting: Nilda Salinas, approved as district support counselor in curriculum and instruction (not present at the meeting); Nikosha Green, approved as counselor at Bush Elementary School; Britney Sabstinski, approved as district support counselor in curriculum and instruction; O’Mary Martin, approved as diagnostician in the special education department (not present); Kavonna Banes, approved as licensed specialist in school psychology in special education for 2025–26; Alexandra Borowsky, approved as licensed specialist in school psychology in special education for 2025–26; Stacy Barber, approved to move from associate superintendent for campus leadership and academic achievement for the remainder of the 2024–25 school year; and Lindsay Lisinski, approved as associate superintendent for campus leadership and academic achievement for the remainder of the 2024–25 school year.

Board members present at the meeting introduced and congratulated the new appointees when they were in attendance. The board approved the personnel slate following a motion by Nelva Sullivan and a second by Marshall Kendrick; the chair called for a voice vote and the motion carried.

The meeting notice and quorum were recorded as posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act (Texas Government Code, chapter 551). No public comments were recorded during the open-session portion of the agenda.

Board members and staff encouraged colleagues to congratulate the new employees as they appear on campuses; the district did not provide additional hiring details or salary information during the meeting.
