Judge Stephanie Boyd told the parties, “So she'll submit the motion to withdraw. I'll sign it. And I'll put on there that, the OAG is in agreement with it and we'll put it on the record.” The court confirmed on the record that the parties agreed to extend the defendant’s probation for two years and amend the terms to include placement at Crosspoint.
Prosecutors told the court Crosspoint had accepted the defendant and would transport him from the Bexar County Jail to the facility. Defense counsel confirmed agreement to the extension and amended conditions. The court repeatedly advised the defendant that if he left Crosspoint without permission the court would receive another motion to revoke.
The parties also said the state would submit a separate dismissal in an unrelated case (cause number 2025CR001600); the court noted it would sign the dismissal when it was received. The judge instructed counsel to send the motion paperwork by email as a backup to electronic filing to avoid delays.
The court placed the withdrawal and amended probation order on the record and signed it; the transcript records that Crosspoint will transport the defendant once the signed dismissal and paperwork are in place.
Ending: The court set no new dates on the record beyond instructing counsel to submit the written dismissal and the motion to withdraw; the judge said she will sign the documents and that placement cannot occur until the paperwork is received and processed.
