Student leaders were singled out for their work. “Josh, Maddie, and Belle, you have set a powerful example for your peers and community,” the staff member said, praising the three students who led fundraising and reading efforts.
The staff member noted that students “didn't do it for a prize. They did it because it mattered.” The announcement did not specify how or when the funds will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House or which campus of the charity will receive the donation.
