Board approves calendar adjustments and student‑services items, aligning with county schedule

"It's going to be that the county is trying to move towards a county not everybody's participating. The most are. But we are gonna participate," the administrator said.
Other calendar changes approved by the board include returning from winter break on the Monday after the break (rather than a mid‑week return) and scheduling spring break for the week after Easter this year because Easter falls early.
Board members approved the items by roll‑call vote. Miss Billingsley, Mister Cook, Miss Desi, Mister Kendall, Mister Lutz, Mister Ritchie, Miss Daugherty and Miss Singel were recorded as voting yes on the section.
