Collingswood High student media teams won five student Emmy nominations this season and celebrated a student Emmy win for Raina Barr for a winter sports commercial, the superintendent reported. The district also said the school won the South Jersey 10 Day Film Challenge and awards for best use of dialogue and best genre; the winning short film was titled Taken. Students wrote, shot, edited and scored films in class over a 10‑school‑day period in the challenge, with day‑one prompts that required a character, prop, line of dialogue and a genre be included. The board thanked teacher Ms. Armano and student filmmakers for the work and for representing the district in regional competitions.
